TOSSIT is an ingenious and simple darts game that is fun for all ages! As a new parlour game for adults and children aged 3 and over, it is perfect for game evenings with friends and family, but also as an office game in the lunch break with work colleagues. Or as a fun throwing game for children at school, as the darts also stick to whiteboards and blackboards.

TOSSIT is a mixture of darts and boccia/pétanque/boules. The soft darts have a strong suction cup that sticks to smooth surfaces such as floors, windows and worktops (see video). The black jack dart is thrown first and the aim is to throw the coloured darts as close as possible to the black dart.

At least 2 people are required for this fun parlour game for children aged 3 and over. Two teams throw silicone darts and try to get as close as possible to the Jack (black dart). When your team gets closest to the black Jack dart, the other team keeps throwing until they have a dart that is closer to Jack. In each round, the teams try to score points. One point is scored for each TOSSIT that is closer to the jack than that of the opponent. The first team to reach 13 points wins the game. The winner starts the round by throwing the jack.

How do you toss?

Unlike with pointed darts, you do not place your fingers on the front weighty part, but along the body/stem up to the wings. Push/push it forwards, similar to a shot put. Gravity ensures a perfect arc when landing on a horizontal surface.

For vertical surfaces, you need to push harder to give it a more direct trajectory. You should aim slightly higher than the actual target. The dart must fly in order to utilise its aerodynamics. It is therefore important to keep a distance of 2-3 metres from the playing surface. The satisfying ‘plop’ at the end confirms success (suction noise).
